Brianna Bavota - April 22, 2010
Brianna Bavota is a 14 year old grade 8 student from St. Patrick's School who has been actively involved in soccer, basketball, and swimming.
She has been participating in soccer for 10 years and has played rep for 6 years with BICS. She was co-captain of a team that won gold at the London Indoor Soccer tournament in December 2009.
Brianna has also been playing house league basketball for Brantford CYO for the past 5 years and playing rep for 4 years. She was recently awarded MVP at the Brampton Warriors tournament in February 2010, and helped her team win gold at the Dundas tournament 2009.
Brianna has been involved in the Red Cross swimming program at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre where she has completed level 10 and is currently working on getting her bronze medallion.
She is involved in several school sports teams such as volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track and field. Brianna is a member of the student council and takes part in her school's safety patrol program. She has been refereeing with the Brant County Recreational Soccer for the past 4 years.
Brianna also enjoys golfing with her family and has participated in golf camps at Northridge.
She is a hardworking student who maintains an 85% average and is looking forward to playing high school sports and in the future would like to attend university and study kinesiology.
