Emma Vieira - June 17, 2010
Emma Vieira is an eleven-year-old grade 6 student who attends St. Leo’s Elementary School. She has been actively participating in soccer for seven years involved at both recreational and competitive levels.
She is a member of the Brantford Intercity Soccer Under 12 team and has received numerous 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place ribbons, trophies, and medals for soccer.
Emma has been involved in dance for five years, she is currently dancing competitively for Studio 5 6 7 8 and has received many awards and trophies. She also enjoys volunteering at St. Pius Church.
Emma recently participated in the Catholic Elementary County track and field competition in the 400m, 800m and long jump events, for the second year in a row. She also participated in the local Catholic Elementary cross country running competitions finishing 21st out of more than 200 participants.
She is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains good marks and wants to continue playing soccer for many more years. Her goal for the future is to achieve good marks at school and one day become a dentist.
