Jacek (Jack) Przednowek - December 6, 2001
This week's TCO "Athlete of the Week" is Jacek (Jack) Przednowek a 16 year-old grade 11 student from St. John's College who excels in soccer. Jack was the recipient of a prestigious award in Toronto last month, winning the scoring title for the Ontario Youth Soccer League, Under 16 boys division.
Jack led his team, the Hamilton Sparta Under 16 boys, to the OYSL Cup Championships for the 2001 season beating teams from Toronto, Brampton and Unionville. His team also made it to the quarterfinals in the North American Indoor Soccer Championships in Cincinnati this year. He played many years in the Brantford rep. Soccer League until his move to Hamilton in 2000, where his team also won the U.S. indoor soccer title last year. Jack also plays soccer and football for his high school teams.
