Jamie Terdik - May 17, 2007
Jamie Terdik is a fifteen-year old grade 10 student from Paris District High School who is active in a number of sports including soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, badminton and track and field.
She has been involved in soccer since 1999, baseball since 2001, volleyball since 2003 and basketball since 2004. She plays 1 st division rep soccer in Paris and is a member of her school’s volleyball, basketball and baseball teams.
Jamie was the baseball MVP in 2002 and 2003 for the youth league in St.George and Lynden. She also helped her high school baseball team capture the high school championships in 2006 and hope to maintain the title once again this year.
In 2005 her school volleyball team finished in 2nd place; her soccer team finish 2nd in 1999 and 2000 and they were undefeated all season in 2005, finishing in 1 st place over all in the Paris Soccer Association for their age group.
Jamie also enjoys volunteering at basketball and volleyball tournaments in her free time. She also volunteers at Elliot Field in St. George refereeing youth soccer games. She is an active volunteer at Rogers Television taking on a variety of roles to do with media and television production.
Jamie is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains an 80% average in all major classes. Her goal is to receive a scholarship to University for soccer and architectural studies.
