Jeff Crane - August 23, 2001
This week's TCO "Athlete of the Week" is Jeff Crane an 18 year-old OAC student at B.C.I. who is co-captain of the Brantford Midget AAA Baseball Team at the short stop position. Last year Jeff won the MVP award for his Midget AAA team. In 1994 Jeff came 3rd at the Nationals for the Honda Hit Run and Throw competition. Jeff also plays basketball for the BCI Mustangs who were City Champs last season. He has won many awards over the years for baseball and basketball. He plans to pursue a career in business and won a business award last year at school. Jeff has had interest shown for his baseball skills from some US Colleges and Major League Clubs.
