Justin Hoogstraten - September 13, 2001
This week's TCO "Athlete of the Week" is Justin Hoogstraten a recent graduate of Assumption College. Justin is a 17 year-old goalie for the Brantford Predators Under 19 Boys All Star Soccer team and has been involved in several tournaments throughout Southern Ontario this past summer. Justin has been involved with the select all star team for the last 3 years. He was chosen game MVP at a Burlington tournament and MVP of the entire tournament where he had only 4 goals scored against him in 5 games. He was also chosen the game championship goalie MVP at a Unionville-Milliken tournament. Justin has an outstanding record of 9 shutouts in 19 games, and has only allowed 15 goals against him. He has also played goal for the last 2 years on the Assumption College soccer team, and plays defense for a Burford Rep. Hockey team. He was invited to the skills Canada competition for construction last year, held in Kitchener.
