Kaleigh Russell - March 22, 2007
Kaleigh Russell is a thirteen-year-old grade 8 student from St. Jean De Brebeuf French Imerson School who participates in several sports including hockey, soccer, basketball, volleyball, soccer and track and field.
Kaleigh has enjoyed playing hockey for the past 3 years; she has been involved in house league soccer for 4 years and on a travel team for the past 2 years.
She is captain of the Brantford Ice Cats Bantam C rep team with the Brantford Girls Hockey Association, she plays on the under 14 girls soccer team with the Brantford Inter-City Soccer League and participates in all school sports.
Kaleigh is a dedicated and hardworking student who is active in a variety of school activities. She won the Most Sportsman Like Award at the Hockey Opportunity Camp in Sundridge, Ontario.
During the summer she enjoys swimming, shooting hoops or playing street hockey with her friends.
Kaleigh plans to continue her involvement in hockey and soccer at the rep. level and hopes to one day earn a scholarship to continue her education at university.
