Kim Beardwood - October 17th, 2000
Kim Beardwood is the first "Athlete of the Week" profiled. She is currently a member of the Brantford Track & Field Club and a grade 9 student at North Park Collegiate. Kim has also participated in soccer, gymnastics, basketball, skating and competitive dance. Her goal is to be part of the 2008 Summer Olympics competing in the 800m or 1500m events following in the footsteps of someone she admires, Kevin Sullivan. |
