Maclean Gordon - September 27, 2007
Maclean Gordon is a recent graduate of Brantford Collegiate Institute who participated in several sports including basketball for 11 years; rugby for 4 years; volleyball for 6 years; tennis for 5 years, and swimming for 3 years.
He was involved with the Briers house league and rep. basketball, CYO house league basketball, Dufferin Tennis Club singles tournaments and was a member of the BCI tennis, volleyball, rugby and basketball teams.
Maclean was co-captain of both the BCI senior volleyball team and the B-side rugby team and was part of the BCI 2006 U.K. Rugby tour that played games in Wales, Ireland and Scotland. He was a member of the 2005 BCI Junior Rugby Team, Barbarian Cup (All-Ontario) Champions and is a certified Bronze Cross Lifesaver.
Maclean won the MVP award for the BCI Junior Basketball team in 2006, and had the Top County score on the University of Waterloo math contests for the last 6 years.
Maclean graduated from BCI with a 91% average in grade 12 and is currently attending McMaster University. He will enter a second year Engineering & Management Course Discipline with the goal of graduating with honours. He also plans to continue his athletic pursuits involved at the intramural level with the Engineering rugby team and possibly working with the McMaster basketball team.
