McKenzie Kelly - February 21, 2002
The Tournament Capital of Ontario "Athlete of the Week" is McKenzie Kelly a nine-year old grade 4 student at Bellview Elementary School who participates in a number of sports. McKenzie was quarterback for his mite football team held a record of 10 and 0 and won the defensive player of the year award. He also plays centre on his Brantford minor hockey team, competed in Brant County junior cross country events and plays intramural soccer, volleyball and basketball. He also achieves a high average in school and was the first student in his school to read around the world. McKenzie puts 100% into whatever he is involved with whether it is sports or schoolwork.
