Nathan Farrington - March 21, 2002
The Tournament Capital of Ontario "Athlete of the Week" is Nathan Farrington a 10 year-old grade 5 student from James Hillier Public School who competes in 5 pin bowling at Echo Bowl and this year has a high game of 239 and a high triple of 604. Nathan won the singles Bantam Championship at Echo Bowl this year, then won the regional playoffs in Ingersoll and competed for the Ontario Bantam title in Toronto, where he placed 13th. Nathan also played soccer, enjoys cross-country running, is an accomplished down hill skier and this summer will participate in lacrosse. Nathan is an "A" student and appreciates the encouragement from his teacher Mrs. Bowers, to try new sports.
