Nathan Gilchrist - December 26, 2002
The Tournament Capital of Ontario "Athlete of the Week" is Nathan Gilchrist an 18 year-old, OAC student from Pauline Johnson Collegiate who is captain of the Brantford Golden Eagles Jr. B hockey team.
Nathan is currently leading the Mid-Western Jr. B Hockey league with 32 goals, 27 assists, for 59 points in only 32 games. He played AAA hockey in the Brantford Minor hockey league for many years and won numerous MVP and Player of the Game awards.
For the past 2 years, Nathan has been a member of the Burlington Chiefs Jr. A Lacrosse team. He also played Roller Hockey for many years and was a member of the Hamilton Fire Wheels Jr. A team and Team Ontario. In 1999 Nathan won the Worlds Fastest Skater competition for Roller Hockey.
Nathan's goal for the future is to play OHL Jr. A hockey next season and one day play pro hockey.
