Riley Carr - May 20, 2010
Riley Carr is an eighteen year old grade 12 student currently attending St. John’s College. Over the years he has participated in numerous sports including golf, lacrosse and soccer, with hockey being at the top of the list.
He was a member of the Green Eagles rugby team in grades 9 and 10 but eventually lost interest in grades 11 and 12. Riley was the MVP of the SJC varsity hockey team that captured the Brantford Championship and went on to lose in C.W.O.S.S.A. finials last year.
He is a goaltender and has played three years of AAA hockey for the Hamilton Reps and this year was a member of the St. George Dukes Jr. Hockey Organization. He also helps out with goalie clinics put on by the Brantford Minor Hockey Association, as well as helping as an instructor at other goalie camps.
Over the years he has received numerous awards, such as winning the AAA Alliance Hockey League Championship, and collecting many more tournament wins and MVP’s along the way.
Riley is a hard working student who maintains good marks and plans to further his education at University studying either sport management or teaching, and hopes to play hockey at the University level on a scholarship.
