Ryan Brady - June 3, 2010
Ryan Brady is a twelve-year-old grade 7 student from Our Lady of Providence School who participates in many sports including basketball, track and field, and soccer his most dominant sport.
He played CYO basketball for several years, and swam at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre in the Aquatics program and completed up to Level 8.
Ryan has been playing both indoor soccer in Hamilton and won the Championship in 2008 as well as competing in outdoor soccer with Brantford City Soccer Club since he was seven years old.
In 2008 he started playing rep soccer as a centre midfielder with Brantford City Soccer Club and is currently a member of the U14 SRSL Team. He is beginning his second year as a mini referee with the BCSC and referee’s children from 3 years old to 8 years old.
Ryan is on his schools soccer team who placed second in the Brant-Haldimand soccer tournament in 2009. He is also a member of Our Lady of Providence’s basketball team, running club and cross country team.
Ryan is a hard working student who maintains an 82% average and plans to continue to participate in a variety of sports at high school with soccer being his number one interest.
