Tanner Guindon - February 11, 2010
Tanner Guindon is a seventeen year old grade 12 student from Brantford Collegiate Institute who has been actively involved in baseball for 11 years and rep for 9 years.
He was the 2009 Brantford Minor Baseball Midget AAA Player of the Year, the 2009 Inter-county Senior Player of the Year and is a member of the 2009 Cannon Cup Champions.
Tanner was a member of the 2009 Can Am All Star Champions who participated at the University of Evansville Fall Wood Bat Tournament in Evansville, Indiana. He also helped his team win the 2005 and 2006 OBA Championships.
He volunteers for the Brantford Minor Baseball score keeping, and umpiring for tournaments hosted by BMBA and trains for baseball through the winter months at indoor facilities.
Tanner is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains an 80% average. He intends to continue his education at university and pursue a career in sports journalism or teaching. He also hopes to continue playing baseball at the highest level.
