Tenielle Forrest - February 14, 2008
Tenielle Forrest is a seventeen-year-old grade 12 student at Paris District High School who participates in volleyball, basketball and soccer, and enjoys snowboarding and wakeboarding.
Tenielle has been actively involved in basketball since she was 7 years old, soccer since she was 8 and volleyball since she was 13. She played with the Ontario Volleyball Association for the 17 & under team in 2006/07; she played for the Paris Soccer Club since the age of 8 and has been on her high school basketball and volleyball teams since grade 9.
In grade 8 Tenielle received the overall (academic/athletic) female performance award and an academic honors award. She helped the Paris District High School volleyball team win the Brant County Midget Girls Championships in 2004/05, the Junior Girls Championships in 2005/06 and the Senior Girls Championships in 2006/07.
In grade 9 Tenielle assisted with refereeing basketball games at her former public school. She attended Olympia Sports Camp in 2000 and again in 2005 where she played volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Tenielle is a dedicated and hardworking student who maintains an 80% average and is planning to enroll in a 3 year business advertising and marketing course at college after she graduates from high school. She also hopes to continue playing volleyball and basketball at college.
