In the recent CYO Paul Mitchell basketball tournament, Tyler was an outstanding contributor to his team's success, scoring 128 points in five games; his team finished the tournament with a silver medal.
Tyler is a competitive runner, and last season placed second at the Ontario Provincial Track Championships in both the 800 and 1500 metre races. Tyler also won the BHNCDSB cross-country championships while competing in the grades four to six division.
He participated in last year's Brantford Rotary Classic 5km Run, and was the winner in his age division with a time of 22 minutes and 11 seconds.
Tyler enjoys playing hockey and has been on the Burford Coyotes rep hockey team for the past two years and this year plays church hockey. He is a member of the Brantford Impact under 11 rep. soccer team, and plans to continue playing all of his favourite sports in the future.
Tyler is an "A" student in grade 5 at St. Theresa's school and when he's not on the court, track, or ice, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
